Node were commissioned by Codia Blackswan to undertake a heritage impact assessment for the proposed redevelopment of a site located off both Great Hampton Row and Mott Street, in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
The development includes a combination of the conversion and regeneration of existing buildings, and elements of new-build development, spread across both sides of Great Hampton Row.
We produced a development optioneering document that explained the site’s heritage sensitivities and assessed the development options and ambitions of Cordia Blackswan. The document informed the development, design and planning strategies for the proposed development.
The team subsequently produced a heritage statement to support the planning application, following detailed analysis of the site and its surroundings.
