St Philips Ltd: A professional land developer and master developer
Node were commissioned by St Philips to undertake a visioning and landscape visual impact exercise for the purposes of promoting the greenfield site at Jubilee Fields, Stockton for a residential development allocation within South Warwickshire Local Plan.
Node undertook a thorough site and contextual analysis, including a detailed character assessment to understand the distinctive features of the local built form as well as the landscape characters of the site. This analysis, together with a recognition of the site’s specific opportunities, allowed Node to develop a series of spatial design principles and vision for the potential development of the site.
Node produced a site vision for a 35 dwelling residential scheme on the south eastern extent of the village. The proposals were structured around the principles of integrating a locally characteristic ‘triangular village green’ within the scheme, as well as framing long distance views of the hills and open countryside to the south east.
Node submitted an illustrative layout as well as a comprehensive vision document to support the site allocation. The local plan review is currently ongoing and the site allocation awaits determination.
