Palpable excitement has hung in the air all week ahead of the launch of King Kong Park, a temporary pocket park designed by Node, commissioned to coincide with Birmingham’s Commonwealth Games and delivered by our clients, Cordia Blackswan on Great Hampton Row, Birmingham.
Well done Alex! The Node team would like to congratulate our Senior Urban Designer, Alex Folliss for being selected as a new panelist for The Design Review Panel, an independent, multi-disciplinary, expert review panel that provides advice to applicants and local authorities on design issues in relation to important new development schemes across the country.
As an urban designer, I feel rather lucky to be working with the built environment. To be working with such rich tapestries of interest and intrigue, I am always fascinated that even after a 10 year career, I am still constantly discovering new and exciting things about the places we live.
Node is delighted to share our exciting new landscape design for Curzon Wharf, a new mixed-use development with a landmark 52 storey tower in Birmingham city centre, located adjacent to Aston Junction on the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.
