Node were commissioned by BPG Holdings to undertake pre-application townscape, heritage, and visual assessment for a site encompassing the Gracechurch Shopping Centre, which forms an important site in the centre of Sutton Coldfield.
Our detailed heritage, townscape and visual contextual analysis provided a critical tool in defining a place-based approach to the new development, which comprises the refurbishment of existing buildings, construction of new buildings, delivery of new public squares and public realm, and diversification of uses.
