St Modwen Properties appointed Node to work alongside Associated Architects and planning consultants on landscape proposals to cover RIBA Stages 2 and 3 that aim to reveal the site of 2 Park Square as one of six target areas to be improved within the strategy ‘Longbridge Public Realm’ which will turn Longbridge into a hub for innovative living and working.

Impact

Node’s vision of the potential of the site prioritises the following approach:

  • landscape design elements align with car park and building grid to ensure legibility and ease of access for pedestrians;
  • strong landscape buffer diminishes car park and motorway impacts and invites to focus on relationship between dwell spaces and river.
