The Landscape show is a trade event dedicated to bringing the landscape industry together and the 2015 show was held at the Battersea Park, London on 22nd and 23rd September.
The day on 22nd started out to be a wet day. But once entered, the show was very involving with all the exciting products on display including plants, paving materials, street furniture and bespoke sculptural items. There were suppliers displaying their range of products, specialist designers showcasing their bespoke ranges and consultants offering their services for the landscape industry from all over the UK and also overseas.
It was very exciting to meet with all the traders and also fellow professionals in the industry.
The entries to the tree house design competition, which was run during the summer in partnership with the London design festival, was exhibited at the show and it was inspiring to see all the creative and innovative design ideas presented for the competition.
There were also many interesting CPD seminars running all day. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend many seminars but the talk by Jamie Eagles on SUDS as a creatively designed infrastructure for the Nine Elms development was very inspiring and thought provoking.
The show was overall very exciting and valuable with all the contacts that I was able to obtain and the wider view of the materials available for the landscape industry.
Thank you to the team who organised a successful event for the industry and looking forward to view all the new products featured in the show next year.
